The Lodge The Lodge is located in the village of Stratena, within the National Park of Slovak Paradise.
The project is a refurbishment of large traditional skiing lodge into high-standard holiday apartments. The Lodge is located directly in the National Park of Slovak Paradise and will house 14 apartments, bar, breakfast room, finish sauna and aromatherapy room. The Lodge is surrounded by grass covered plot of land with 100 year old trees, fresh water stream, impressive stairway leading to The Lodge and large covered barbecue area. Parking spaces are located in the gated back yard of The Lodge and alongside the private approach road.
The Lodge is located just off the main entrance to the National Park and its main attraction – Dobsinska Ice Cave. All the restaurants and pubs are centred on this focal point of the area. Location Located on the border of Low Tatras, National Park of Slovak Paradise is popular place for both, summer and winter holidays among Slovak, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, German and Russian tourists. The area has two main seasons – skiing is the winter time and outdoor sports such as hiking, cycling and rock climbing in the summer. The main attraction of the national park is the unique Dobsinska Ice Cave, listed by the UNESCO World Heritage. Its entrance is only 200 meters away from the Snow & Steam Lodge.
Village of Stratena is only 28 km away from international airport Poprad – Tatry with direct flights from London. All the services are located in the village, which also has numerous charming guest houses, small restaurants and pubs. Local ski-lift is app. 300 m away from the lodge. Popular ski resort of Telgart is located only 4 km away. Beautiful lake of Dedinky is 10 km to south-east of Stratena. Construction Schedule To be completed June 2009. Facilities And Maintenance The Lodge is currently operated by a local company, who expressed their interest to operate it after refurbishment as well. Negotiations with other possible operators are under way. Payment Terms • 30% at contract
