Sunrise Ski and Spa Resort This exceptional 4* congress and holiday resort comes fully furnished on completion, is located on the shores of Liptovska Mara water reservoir, set in a fairy-tale scenery of river Vah valley. To the north and north east, snow-covered mountain range of High Tatras poses powerful contrast to idyllic views of crystal blue lake to the west from the site. Across the valley, to the south, the picture is framed by National Park of Low Tatras. It is the first 4* development in this swiftly developing area with thriving tourism and excellent growth potential.
The complex consists of 9 buildings. The main building houses 54 studios and 1-bedroom apartments, restaurant, terrace restaurant, café, two congress halls, swimming-pool, wellness center and underground garage. It faces north east, towards High Tatras. There are also 3 larger apartment houses, each consisting of 20 apartments. Five smaller apartment houses contain four apartments each. Complex has 134 apartments in total. There is a direct access to the lake from the plot and several children playgrounds located in the complex.
There will be all services that belong to four star standards available in the complex (massage, manicure, beauty treatment…). There will also be a ski-bus, ski rental and car rental services. The complex will be operated by international hotel group (details to be published).
Parking will be available in underground garage and surface parking lot.
Sunrise is a multifunctional resort, suitable for conference and congress tourism (main building), as well as family holidays (apartment houses). The design of the hotel allows these two functions to be kept separate in order not to interfere with each other. Two main seasons (winter and summer) will focus on mass tourism (family holidays, breaks) and will be coupled by corporate business throughout the year. Location Sunrise Ski and Spa resort is:
• Located on the shores of Liptovská Mara dam, the artificial lake with the extent of 27 km2 is one of the most visited places in Slovakia (windsurfing, jetting, extreme sports, cruises, marina, fishing),
• 300 meters from the largest water fun complex in Central Europe Tatralandia (natural water temperature 26 - 38 ˚C, spa, 13 saunas and steam-baths, water massages, water mushroom, water swing, water beds, streams, 18 tobogans, waterfalls, unusual water sports).
• 7 km from spa Besenova (1987 meter deep geothermal spring of healing water, healing effects on motion, urinary and respiratory systems, positive cosmetic effects; several pools, water fun-park, state of the art vital world),
• Direct ski-bus connection to the largest and most popular winter sports centre in Slovakia is Jasna, located only 10 km to the south of the development (excellent for downhill skiing, cross-country, snowboarding and winter extreme sports; 3 free-ride pistes, 11 km cross-country, 6 gondolas, 16 lifts, 24 downhill pistes in total length 29.5 km).Other attractions include paragliding, 1,5 km snowboarding park, snow-tubing, forest adventure trail, trail TARZANIA, kitewing – windsurfing on skis, horse riding, ski school, ski-rental, ski service, internet café and kids club. Over 20 other ski-resorts within 50 km from the development.
• 45 km away from the first 18-hole master’s golf course in Slovakia, the Grey Bear,
• located on the border of National Parks of High and Low Tatras (outstanding natural beauty, several UNESCO world heritage sites), great conditions for hiking, cycling and extreme sports,
• 50 km away from airport Poprad – Tatry, an international airport with direct flights to London (accessible by D1 highway, 4 km away from the development). Construction Schedule Expected to be completed by winter season 2009. Facilities And Maintenance Facilities on the site include restaurant, café, bar, wellness center, children play grounds and landscaped outdoor areas.
Maintenance will be carried out by the property management company. Payment Terms The Right Move Abroad have a refundable reservation fee policy which enables you to hold an apartment for up to 30 days without actually committing to the purchase. This enables you to view the development and do further due diligence prior to signing your contract and paying your first instalment. Only 10% of your reservation fee is retained by The Right Move Abroad as an administration charge. The refundable reservation fee is €3,000 and should accompany a signed reservation form which is available upon request. This reservation fee is deducted from your first instalment. After 30 days of receipt of your reservation form and cheque, the reservation fee becomes nonrefundable.
