This enables you to view the property and do further due diligence prior to signing your contract and paying for it. Only 10% of your reservation fee is retained by The Right Move Abroad as an administration charge. We will accept verbal reservations which are valid for 72 hours.
The refundable reservation fee is €1,500 and should accompany a signed reservation form which is available upon request. This reservation fee is deducted from the price of the property. After 30 days of receipt of your reservation form and cheque, the reservation fee becomes non-refundable.
Once you have viewed the property and wish to proceed with the purchase, full payment is expected upon signing the purchase contract prior to receiving the notary deed.
The entire process is managed by The Right Move Abroad. Most properties are already in our possession, so ownership issues and problems are unlikely to arise in acquiring the property. Property Management There are a number of local property management companies who can rent your property out. How (and whether or not) you rent your property is your choice, as too is the type of offers you wish to invite (long term versus short term). We will assist you in sourcing a suitable property management company, who will also advise an estimated rental income for both short and long term lets, and estimated occupancy figures. They will also advise what proportion of this rent will be retained by them, as this varies from company to company. Their fee will normally cover the following (but again this varies):
• Property Contents Insurance
• Heating Costs
• Electricity Costs
• Water Costs
• Key Management and Check-up Visits
• Cleaning of the property
• Laundry (sheets, towels etc)
• Advertising your property to potential tourists
