Bay View Phase II, Makriyialos, Crete We are pleased to announce the second of four phases in Bay View - Crete, due for completion in May 09.
Bay View is a development split over 4 phases which consists of 214 units, mainly consisting of apartments designed to sleep 4 and 2 bed bungalows. All units are designed to take advantage of the beautiful Sea views and the coastline which is just 100 metres away.
Phase I and II have been released by the developer and consist of 86 apartments and 8 bungalows – these are the current units for sale.
Phase III and IV are not yet for sale.

Bay View is located just two kilometres East along the coast from Makriyialos in the heart of the Cretan countryside.
The development is located in a gently rising 6 acre amphitheatre which facilitates many dwellings to have direct views of the beach and sea. Others will have views of the swimming pool, countryside and/or mountains. Some have 360 degree views of everything! Construction Schedule Construction for Phase II is due to complete in May 2009. Payment Terms We operate a refundable reservation fee policy which enables you to hold an apartment for up to 30 days without actually committing to the purchase. This enables you to view the development and do further due diligence prior to signing your contract and paying your first installment. The reservation fee is only refundable if the client views the property for sale in the development within the 30 day period. The reservation fee is also refundable if the buyer is seeking to obtain a mortgage. As long as the documents are received by the bank within a week of reservation then if the mortgage is declined your reservation will also be refunded. Only 10% of your reservation fee is retained by us as an administration charge. We will accept verbal reservations which are valid for 72 hours. The refundable reservation fee is €3,000 and should accompany a signed reservation form which is available upon request. This reservation fee is deducted from your first installment. After 30 days of receipt of your reservation form and cheque, the reservation fee becomes non-refundable.
A mortgage can be obtained for 75% on a full status mortgage (to be paid in line with the stage payments).
You can also obtain a non-status mortgage which allows you to borrow 60%.
Property Management Property management will be available. About the Immediate Vicinity On the doorstep of Bay View is; Pavolakia Gorge (an excellent walk with scenery and smells from the herbs changing with the seasons); Mona Kapsa Monastery; outstanding restaurants including Dragons Cave (looking back towards Makriyialos and the mountain backdrop and a well deserved reputation for the best lamb in the area) Lastly there is Diaskari Tavern, literally on the waters edge shaded by trees and only seating for around 20.
